The Opendata.ch 2012 conference was insightful, exciting and a good barometer for Open Data in Switzerland.
The conference contributions are comprehensively documented, and the videos and slides of the plenary speakers are now all available online.

The contributions to the four thematic workshops are also largely available online – some with videos:

• Finance & Procurement
• Science & Culture

Comments on the individual tracks are expressly welcome. Also worth watching is the 10vor10 report from the same evening. Particularly worth reading is the Open Government Data Studie Schweiz, published at the event.

Push Open Data in the City of Zurich further by telling those responsible for the first Swiss Open Government Data portal – also launched at Opendata.ch 2012 – which City of Zurich data you would like to see openly accessible, and which applications and visualisations using City of Zurich data you already know.

The next important date for open data to reserve is 28 & 29 September 2012: that is when the next make.opendata.ch Hackdays on the theme of health will take place simultaneously in Geneva and Basel. Details and registration to follow.
