make.opendata.ch 2012: Health

Open Health Data means making healthcare data freely available and usable, for more transparency, innovation and efficiency. Over two days, designers, programmers, journalists, experts and laypeople work in open workshops on practical apps and exciting visualisations on the topic of health.

On 28 and 29 September 2012, developers, designers, experts and citizens of all kinds will meet simultaneously at the Unternehmen Mitte in Basel and in Geneva to work with open data on the topic of health. On Thursday, 27 September, the evening before the Hackdays, the Tageswoche together with the Opendata.ch association is organising a panel discussion, also in the hall of the Unternehmen Mitte, which will introduce the topic of “open government data” to a wider audience. The event is free of charge.

The Hackdays themselves start on Friday, 28 September, at 9:00, and end with the final presentation on Saturday, 29 September, at 16:00. Anyone interested can now register for the Hackdays at: http://make.opendata.ch
