Introduction to WikiData for GLAM institutions, part 1

In this course you will learn the basics of WikiData for GLAM institutions and how you can use WikiData for your institution. What you have learned is consolidated through simple exercises. The course is supported by Wikimedia CH.

Course content:

  • Introduction to WikiData
  • WikiData syntax (RDF triples)
  • Simple data entry
  • Simple SPARQL queries
