Data Hackdays Uri 2023

Developing solutions to public problems with data and digital tools and thereby contributing to the common good (“public value”) in the Canton of Uri – this is the aim of the Data Hackdays Uri, which take place on 31 March and 01 April 2023 at the Zeughaus in Altdorf .

We invite creative people who want to use data and digital tools to work for the common good of the Canton of Uri. No special technical knowledge is required. For experienced or aspiring programmers, designers and data professionals, however, the Data Hackdays Uri 2023 are an excellent opportunity to develop their technical and communication skills. Based on Open Government Data (freely available government data) and with the help of numerous open source tools (openly accessible software), the participants of the Data Hackdays Uri 2023 develop innovative solutions that benefit people, the environment, the administration and the economy. In this way, the applications created at the Data Hackdays Uri 2023 show how the digital transformation in the service of the public takes effect.
