Data standards for Swiss political business

At the beginning of this year, the new eCH expert group «Political Affairs» was launched. We are delighted that, with Opendata.ch and as part of OpenParlData.ch, we were able to help initiate the federal standardisation of Swiss parliamentary data and data on political affairs (see the expert group application). This is an important step towards more transparency, innovation and participation in Swiss politics. In the video, the co-leads of the expert group, Christian Gutknecht (board member of Opendata.ch) and Michael Luggen (Federal Chancellery), explain how it came about, what goals the expert group is pursuing and what concrete benefits the standardisation of parliamentary data and other political affairs brings.
