Invitation: Magnus Manske on 4 February in Bern!

Together with Wikimedia CH, we invite you on Saturday, 4 February 2017 at 2 pm to the keynote by Magnus Manske at Impact Hub Bern. While still a student, Magnus Manske contributed to Nupedia, the predecessor project of Wikipedia, and later developed one of the first versions of the free MediaWiki software, which is used today for the Wikimedia projects. On 4 February in Bern, Magnus will show the possibilities for using and adapting MediaWiki and talk about the various extensions, with a special focus on the Wikibase extension, which is used for Wikidata and soon also for Wikimedia Commons.
