make.opendata.ch 2011

After the debate in the media and politics had been launched, autumn 2011 was the time to get down to business with open data in Switzerland. From 30 September to 1 October, designers, developers, journalists and activists are coming together in Lausanne and Zurich for the first “make.opendata.ch” to help Switzerland towards more “direct data democracy”.

This first event developed tremendous momentum in Lausanne as in Zurich; it is well documented in the make.opendata.ch Wiki, in various blog posts [1, 2, 3, ..] and in media coverage.
